Alex Larsen began his drilling career in 2007 as a driller’s assistant, welder, and mechanic. He continually expanded his drilling skills and expertise to become a driller and now, our drilling operations supervisor. Alex is a proven leader with an excellent safety record. Alex’s down hole and mechanical abilities are remarkable. No matter what challenges arise, Alex keeps his drilling equipment humming along, 24/7 when needed, to meet the client’s objectives on-time and on-budget, no matter how challenging the conditions.
Alex is skilled in conventional mud rotary, air rotary, reverse circulation, flooded reverse and air rotary casing hammer (ARCH) drilling methods. He has expert-level skills in operating many types of drill rigs. He has experience drilling in Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.

Duane entered the drilling industry in 2011 as an assistant and, with fierce determination and hard work, he moved his way up to become one of our clients most sought after rotary drillers. His versatility and expertise in rotary drilling put him firmly in the top tier of rotary drillers. He has expert level skills in conventional mud rotary, air rotary, reverse circulation, flooded reverse, under reaming and air rotary casing hammer (ARCH). Duane has and can still expertly operate a wide variety of drill rigs, logging equipment, down-hole tools and high-capacity pressure, cement, slurry, and pump equipment.
Duane is adept at understanding the unique needs of each client and delivering results that exceed the client’s expectations. He has experience drilling in Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.

Back in 1990, Corey’s first job in the drilling industry was driller’s assistant. A dedicated professional, he was promoted to welder, then driller, and into a variety of supporting rolls. Corey, a natural team player, is an excellent manager and respected leader. He has outstanding skills and experience in drilling project safety, planning, and management. Corey assures that our operations supervisors, drillers, and assistants have the training and information they need to safely and successfully meet or exceed our client’s expectations.
Corey has in-depth expertise in nearly all environmental, rotary, and core drilling methods. He has experience working in a broad range of conditions and formations having worked on a diverse mix of drilling projects in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Wyoming, the East Coast, and Mexico.

Jeff Goff has worked in the drilling industry since 1994. He is among the drilling industry’s most highly respected safety professionals. He has been instrumental in developing and implementing environmental, health, and safety programs for the drilling industry for decades. With his extensive experience as a driller’s assistant to EHS Director and his passion for safety, Jeff creates safety plans which are practical, actionable, and highly effective.
Ever dedicated to safety, from day one, Jeff made sure that Hard Core Drilling Professionals, LLC was “Safe from the Core” by gaining every team member’s on-going commitment to “work at the speed of safety”.
Jeff works with our safety managers and operations supervisors to create and implement comprehensive safety plans for each project. Working in tandem with our drill crews, our safety team members spend the majority of their time in the field, proactively inspecting drill sites, conducting onsite training, interacting with clients, and supporting a safe workplace for all employees.
Jeff stays current with drilling industry safety news, trends, and best practices. He plans and oversees our safety training, safety expectations, shop inspections, and job site inspections.
Jeff started as a driller’s assistant and worked his way to up EHS Director. He has extensive drilling experience in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, Utah, and Wyoming.

James, along with our client services team, works closely with our clients to introduce them to the range of skills, tools, experienced team members, and top-notch safety protocols in place to meet or exceed expectations on their projects. James developed and implemented business processes that enhance safety, productivity, and efficiency on each project.
James joined the drilling industry in 1989 as a pump and drilling assistant in Arizona. He has extensive experience in many drilling methods including flooded reverse, conventional, reverse circulation, diamond core, percussion hammer, auger, sonic, casing advance, well testing, well rehabilitation, and pump R & I. He has worked on drilling projects across the United States.
James is involved in many local, state, and national associations. He appreciates being involved and helping to strengthen the drilling industry. He takes pride in Team HCDP meeting, and hopefully exceeding, client’s expectations.

Tom Moreland began his drilling career as a helper in 1985. With a passion for drilling and a driving commitment to excellence, he worked his way up the ranks to driller, field operations manager, district manager, general manager, and vice president. Tom is a respected drilling professional with extensive experience successfully managing all aspects of drilling and service operations.
In 2018, Tom drew on his decades of drilling experience and his relationships with exceptional drilling industry professionals to put in place the best people, equipment, processes, and procedures to start and grow HC Drilling Professionals, LLC.
Tom has in-depth awareness of and advanced training in OSHA and MSHA surface mining operations. He has considerable experience drilling in including Arizona, California, Idaho, Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
Tom holds water well licenses in Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Washington.
